No competitor saw the front of Alexander Rossi’s No. 16 FB02 as the 16-year old Californian was absolutely the fastest Formula BMW Americas driver of the Round 5 and 6 Mid-Ohio weekend. Rossi led every practice session, scored both poles, led every lap on his way to both victories, set the fastest lap in both races and won by the largest margin of victory 14.123 seconds in Formula BMW history. The result? A commanding 24-point lead in the Overall 2008 standings. Rossi also became this weekend at Mid Ohio the second all-time Formula BMW Americas winnner with six for his career.
